02How we protect your identity
To stay fully anonymous, leave the contact fields empty and do not write your name in the description. If you use email or a phone instead of these forms, your address or number will reach us.
03What happens next
- Reference number. You get a reference number as soon as you submit. Keep it safe: it is the only way to follow up on an anonymous report.
- Acknowledgement. We log every report and acknowledge it within 3 working days. If you asked for a reply, we contact you.
- Investigation. The Grievance Officer looks into it, fairly and confidentially. Fraud, corruption, abuse and harassment go straight to senior management, and to the Managing Director if management is involved.
- Marketplace action. While we check a reported listing, we may hide it. If it breaks our Product Listing Policy, we remove it and may suspend the seller.
- Resolution. We aim to resolve reports within 30 days and tell you the outcome if you asked for a reply. You can also call us with your reference number to ask about progress.
- Partners and authorities. If a report involves a partner, such as a bank, insurer or programme, we pass it to them without your identity. Where the law requires, we report crimes and unsafe products to the relevant authorities.

05No retaliation
Kilimo Maendeleo does not allow anyone to be punished, threatened or treated unfairly for making a report in good faith. For farmers, this includes losing access to KM360, a loan, inputs or a market. For staff and partners, it includes dismissal, demotion, loss of a contract or harassment. If this happens, report it here and we will treat it as a serious matter in its own right.
Making a report you know to be false is itself misconduct.
